What’s our motivation for this?
Springwater Software has started to develop a new software tool for Risk Management. There are many “Enterprise Risk Management” software packages available, but our product is going to be slightly different. We are aiming our software at smaller organisations and people whose involvement in risk management is a small part of their busy worklife, not their main everyday focus.
A lot of the web pages about Risk Management make it seem more complicated than it actually is. So one of our objectives is to help people get started by explaining Risk Management in plain English and keeping it simple.
Another of our objectives is to learn more about Risk Management ourselves, so we can develop a better software product. Writing the content for this website has helped us to clarify our thoughts about risk management. We hope that people will give us feedback, enabling us to learn together about what works.
